About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to check what's going on outside of Europe finally!

ABOUT ME

I am a professional ice-skater and documentary director. I live and work in Warsaw since 4 years, but before I used to live in Lodz, the oldest industrial city of Poland. I used to study law which I would like to forget forever. I also used to play violin and piano (almost forgot it as well).
I am a flexible and easy - going person, ready to experience everything, what life can bring. I like hanging out, wandering, enjoying friday evenings, always ready for an interesting conversation.

PHILOSOPHY

"Let's move on to plan B"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can host depending on my work schedule, which is quite tight however.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I managed to host quite a bunch of friends on my couch and a bunch of German high school pupils for few months as a part of exchange program. One of them was a punk, we played some punk rock music together!

Interests

I fill my life with being overworked with documentary filmmaking and believing I become this way a recent incarnation of Mad Men.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: The Black Swan, the Wrestler and everything made by Aronofsky (greatest living director), Stealing Beauty by Bertolucci, Dark Knight (Batman is the best), 4 months 3 weeks and 2 days by Mungiu, all good documentaries

Music: indie music in general, Crystal Castles, The Smiths, Seattle music in general, HEALTH, Motorhead, Boards of Canada, CSS, and some music made by my former classmates

Books: Haruki Murakami (always), William Faulkner, Cormac McCarthy (recently), Ann of the Green Gables (I read it all as a kid, still love it), Sigmund Bauman and Sartre (only during the weekends)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to work as a temporary-tattoo maker in London. My specializiation were roses, my masterpiece was a fairy for which I got 2 pounds tip.

I used to follow for three days a guy who was imprisoned for 20 years and got out for the first time. We managed to make a movie out of it.

I managed to read all Anne of the Green Gables.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to cook along so
and give an express course of violin and piano. I can teach you how to hold a documentary camera too!

I can teach you the names of 7 basic Chakras.

I would love to learn how to make sushi. And some samba. And samba-sushi. And how to make ikebana. Damn, I want to learn all of it.

I can share the stories of how to make a movie about prisoners.
