My current goal is to finish a Degree in Aerospace Engineering and hopefully one day work for a private space company or NASA. I would like to eventually find myself immigrating to New Zealand.

Im a happy goofball, comfy cozy in my own shoes. I am goal oriented but I don't let it run my life. I love discussions about things that are important in life: Science, love, religions, politics, worldview....and SPACE! The list goes on! I think that one of the biggest lies people believe whether subconscious or conscious is that you can not respect or value someone of different opinion or belief than yourself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and hearing stories from folks and their travels. I have traveled a good bit so far and will always do more; couch surfing is a great way to explore a new area a introduced to great people in an unfamiliar place.

Interests

Snowboarding, skating, music, instruments, and allll things science.
I love mechanical work and carpentry. rebuilding engines, off roaders, junkyard rebirths, ratrods! I just like making things work.

Music, Movies, and Books

Yup!! Big movie guy although I'm terrible with movie facts and trivia. I listen all sorts of music although again the trivia is lost on me. Indie rock n' roll, Punk rock, country, and EDM are my go to genres. I used to read a lot of books. Real books. Yeah the kind that smell like libraries, made with paper... Lol. Now I tend to read mostly scientific journals and papers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Fought fires hanging out of a BlackHawk Helicopter. We use giant sacks under the cargo hook. Looks like a giant orange testi.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really enjoy learning new things. I think learning is a skill like any other and you can practice it to become a faster learner. I large portion of my job requires me to teach, and I enjoy it. Sharing knowledge is an awesome way to communicate.
I am a decent Mechanic and am always willing to try and help someone solve a problem.

Im clean. I'll help out making sure things are nice and tidy. If there are a few things that need to get done around the house feel free to enlist my help. Sometimes yah gotta earn that couch! :)
