Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've worked in a hostel for a year and a half, and numerous guests have recommended me Couchsurfing. Some even seemed offended I wasn't part of it! I've only been to a few meet ups, but I'm starting to understand the culture and the philosophy behind CS—I feel that I want to be part of this beautiful international network of travelers. Once I have a place where I can have surfers stay, I want to be a host as well!
