Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One thing I learn in life is the importance of culture. Not as accumulation of facts, but as the things you can learn about the others who lives in different places (it's not neccesary to travel to a far place to been in a different culture). I am always on the mood to learn something about the people and the places where I stay. So, I found on Couchsurfing an useful tool that fits to the way I want to travel.

Una de las cosas que aprendí es la importancia de la cultura. No como la acumulación de hechos, sino como las cosas que se pueden aprender de las personas que viven en distintos lugares (no es necesario viajar a un lugar lejos para estar en una cultura distinta). Estoy siempre a la expectativa de aprender algo acerca de la gente y de los lugares en los que estoy. Entonces, encuentro en Couchsurfing una herramienta útil que se ajusta a la manera en que quiero viajar

Reading, studying, discovering things and places. Whenever I can, I use the bike a lot to travel in a place. Have a very important affinity about music: I like to playing drums and percussion instruments -cajón peruano-. I also love to playing football

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: diverse. From rock, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple. From my country, Serú Girán, Spinetta, Pappo. There's a mood for every genre of music, and depends on the specific day. Sometimes I wake up from bed singing an specific song and then I need to listen it ASAP haha. Then, to name others: Tribalistas, José Larralde, Creedence, but again: It's a loooong list.

Movies: I would prefer to name directors. Like alot the work of Quentin Tarantino, Francis Ford Coppola; Stanley Kubrick and his obssesion for the technical cuestions.

For last, I like to read a lot: from novels to academic books. Julio Cortázar, Jorge Luis Borges, Karl Marx, Roland Barthes, Paulo Freire, Michel Foucault, Mikhail Bajtin, Valentin Voloshinov, to name a few. Related to my passion for books, I like to write: thoughts, stories and also notes in the books I'm reading! (In order to appropiate the book, I think you have to write it with your personal feelings and thoughts about what are you reading)
