I live my life by the philosophy "fake it til you make it," but I promise I'm not doing that with my Couchsurfing profile -- this about me is the real deal. I traveled in South America with my sister in 2010 and we Couchsurfed a lot using her profile, and now I'm older (definitely) and wiser (maybe) and ready to face the repeated rejection myself.

I'm a very social person, and love meeting new people and (hopefully) hitting it off with them. I can play piano reasonably well, beatbox less well, and freestyle like poorly spaced refrigerator poetry magnets. When I'm not writing Couchsurfing bios I work in the film industry, and in my free time I also shoot sketch comedy that I'd love to show you. Nice to meet you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always been excited about the prospect of meeting new people, and when I travel that's my top priority! Couchsurfing is a great way to meet locals and not just other travelers in hostels. I also love having experiences that are off the beaten path, and not just seeing the major sights of a country. I can't wait to host once my living situation allows for it, but unfortunately that's not currently an option :(

Skydiving, solo paragliding, and naked bungee-jumping. I guess that's three, but they all involve trying to kill myself with gravity, right?
