About Me

I am Lucas, a 20 year old Journalism student from Brazil who is currently travelling on a gap-year through Europe. I am more of a quiet person, and also someone who has a very big interest on arts, nature and stuff. And well, if you are reading this, hopefully we can meet! 😁

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on CouchSurfing to have people around me while I am travelling, to have them sharing a little of themselves, their time and their company with me! :) I get tired of having the same conversations over and over again, so I would like to connect more with the people of where I go instead of doing the same hostel small-talk every few days...

Music, Movies, and Books

Reading is one of my hobbies, and I myself like to write short stories sometimes! Nowadays I read o lot of the classics, like Kafka or Dostoievski, as well as modern writers that are relevant to our time. Music is also something I deeply enjoy, may it be alone in my bedroom or while riding my bike to my university. Rock (especially those between the 60s and 90s) and Brazilian popular music are some of the styles I like the most, but I am usually very curious to listen to music from countries that I visit too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not me, but my hamster. Around 12 year ago, it either fell from the eleventh floor and survived or it somehow managed to climb down eleven stores of apartments. Fact is: he got from A to B, and after one day of crying and thinking he had died, we found him alive and well at the base floor. (No, my parents did not swap my dead hamster for a living one. And yes, we had this discussion already)

Teach, Learn, Share

I personally think of myself as a very interesting person hahaha I can't think of anything I can teach really, but we can talk and have a fun time! :)
