Hi everyone, i'm Lucas !

It is always a moment of great solitude when I have to present myself, I never know what to say! And at the same time, there are very few people who read these kinds of things, so, is it really necessary to do it?

For a few years now, travelling has been one of my priorities! After a few years of backpacking (Spain, 2012, Croatia, 2014), I’ve also spent one year on the roads of Europe in a van between 2016 and 2017! Without any doubt, my most beautiful travelling experience! From Andalusia to Norway, crossing Central Europe….
In life as in travelling, I don’t get worked up! I live from day to day and I make the most of opportunities! I am always ready to party or relax on the banks of a river! I love mountain hiking, admiring beautiful landscape and setting up my tent in the middle of nature! Nothing better than a meal cooked on a campfire with limited resources after a good day of walking! Showering can wait the next day, or even the day after ;)

Otherwise, I am a big fan of music and festivals! This is the best place to meet people and have a good time! My favorite? “Le festival du bout du monde “ (Land’s End Festival) The best festival to discover new artists from the entire world!

If we spend some time together, we are going to end up playing board games. After a few years of collecting, I reckon I have a few dozens of games that I bring out the moment I can. Don’t worry, I have games for every taste!

What else? Certainly, a lot of things…That we can talk about while having a nice Belgian beer !

One important thing : a live in a house With 6 other peoples... They are very Nice, they love travelling ans meet people so... No problem ! You are welcom !

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

As Christopher McCandless puts it, “Happiness is only real when shared.” For me Couchsurfing is travelling, encounters and discoveries!
Thank to couchsurfing, I travelled for two year without stepping outside of my home! I’ve welcomed travellers from the entire world! During my travelling, I have been welcomed as well and I would like to continue this exchange as long as possible!
I’ve never had a bad encounter here, no doubt because we are all here for the same reason! Open oneself and help each other…everything the world misses nowadays! A big thanks to this amazing community!

One year with a van on the road... Amazing trip ! Lot of meeting, discovry... Now, i just want to get out and explore !

Walk on a glacier until the top at 3200 m !! Start at 5 AM and arrive at the top for the sunrise ! Beautifull !

One summer, 13 music festivals, 350 bands, a tent and hitchhiking !
