Hello, I'm Lucas.

OK, about me... I suppose the most obvious thing is a tri-cultural upbringing, growing up in Portugal with mixed German and English parents. We lived on a farm, had lots of chickens and made wine. After studying Geography in England I went to Berlin, where I played in a rock n roll band and started bartending and making cocktails to earn my living.

I like speaking to people from all over, meanwhile drinking wine and listening to music. Music is extremely important, we can talk about that. Wine too. I'm interested in people, so that means politics, anthropology, urban cultures etc. I like finding out how things work, how other people do the same stuff as me, but differently.

For various reasons I've decided to travel again, starting in Spain and going to Morocco. I'm curious...

Probably for the same reason as you. To meet interesting people whilst traveling and save a bit of money ;) Still relatively new at this though...

Interests

Music, especially rock n roll/classic rock, funk. Writing stuff, playing music together, recording and mixing it... music is a mysterious thing.
Woodwork and traditional crafts and ways of making stuff.
Cooking and learning how you cook
