About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To not feel like a tourist in my own country.
ABOUT ME
Not much to say, really. Some have accused me of being overly humble. I don't think I am.
I never know what to say when I am the one supplying this type of content.
Recently, amongst a number of other things, I have found a small slice of happiness in who I am. The mistakes I have made, which are not few in number, are the vessel in which I arrived at my current state of being. Along with the friends I made in my 26 years and the friends I have lost, my decisions, my experiences...I am the amalgamated product of my life.
I am kind, soft-spoken, often apologetic to a fault and a dreamer. I am easy to excite and once I am I have a tendency to stutter. My mouth cannot keep up with my brain.
Let's see...hmm...Have you ever heard of the saying,"write the way you speak?" That's me. I enjoy the use of ellipses and parentheses (notice how I used the plural form of ellipsis).
Lastly, I like my hat.
*Update March 2012*
The bike tour I was hoping to take did not pan out. Life, work and other goals got in the way. However, I do want to take it one day. Still riding and dreaming, though.
PHILOSOPHY
Make a choice. Stand by it. Live by it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well, so far all I have done is make a donation. I would like to host a couple people before I start crashing on couches. I feel that is only fair. However, I live in an area that is relatively untraveled by Surfers. Sad. But, if you do find yourself in my neck of the woods, look me up. We will roast hot dogs, have a drink, play some music, dance, live, laugh and maybe share a story or two.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have met my first CS'er. However, I have yet to host or surf.
Interests
Philosophical debates of life and the cosmos.
Playing my guitar.
Riding my bicycle.
Books that help me better understand the world and those in it.
I am a bit of a gamer. RPG nerd. Not so much anymore. Games have become a bit...lacking.
Good wine, good food. Learning to cook everything from scratch. One day I would like to have my own vegetable and herb greenhouse. I am not a vegetarian. I am a proud omnivore. So, unless I plan on raising animals for consumption, I will still have to buy meat. I do like a good avocado and tomato sandwich, though. I just wish I had access to a better selection of avocado's.

I watched a dear friend of mine struggle with her past. She did not back down. She rose up and became the strong-willed, beautiful woman I know today.
