About Me

I am 23 year old health and sustainability enthusiast who has been traveling around the U.S. working on organic farms through the WWOOF and HelpX programs. I am a good guest and have been a guest on many farms and houses during my travels. I have many hosts that would give a good reference. Let me know if you would like references :)

Currently, I am taking a hiatus from a U.S. organic farming journey to travel to Portland and Seattle to tour the Naturopathic Medical Schools there: NCNM and Bastyr.

I work hard, am mindful, kind, polite, adaptable, personable, and adventurous.

Check me out on my website (has not been updated in a long time):

PHILOSOPHY

Openness, love, living in light, honesty. Through this you can be truly happy and reach your full potential.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couch surfing because I am traveling on a budget and cannot afford to stay in motels, hostels, and hotels. My way of travel is my trusty Honda Civic. I believe couch surfing is a great opportunity to meet new people and get immersed in the local culture while traveling. My goal is to couch surf my way to Portland and Seattle.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have no couched yet but looking for my first!

Interests

I love learning and talking about all things spiritual, environmental, philosophy, economics, and social practices. I make my own hygiene products and try very hard to live the natural lifestyle in this modern world.

Example topics: Farming, sustainability, out doors activities (hiking, skiing, etc.), spirituality, personal development, human connection, spirit science, entrepreneurship, living in light, balance.

Live in the present.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music but I my first love was Classic Rock. (Doors, CCR, Led Zeppelin, etc.)

I have been reading a lot of non fiction lately about health, farming and sustainability. Currently, my favorite author would be Eliot Coleman, the organic farmer.

I love documentaries and movies that make you think. That includes psyche thrillers. I love a movie that is well written. Sometimes I will indulge in a movie just to watch a movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Worked in a medical clinic in Guatemala City, Guatemala for 6 weeks! Changed my life! Made a family and I love talking about it! Have tons of pictures and video. I was invited to weddings, parties (they made the crazy gringo drink quite a bit), and the beautiful Lake Atitlan of the region!

That Lake is the most beautiful thing I have every seen. The water change with the energy of the place. It would grow turbulent at times even when there was no wind and it would be calm and tranquil at others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Anything! I'm an open book. I can share all my stories on my farm/ non farm travels. I love listening to stories as well and any good discussions. I can help prepare meals for them, though I wouldnt call myself an expert in the kitchen. I am happy to share my groceries. I can impart what health, science, environmental, farming, etc. knowledge that I have.
