About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Save the world from zombie apocalypse, learn and share!
ABOUT ME
I like to consider myself a respectful, open minded person, in all modesty. I might appear a little shy or reserved at first, but I actually love to share with people whatever they might need in terms of information and experience, regardless of their sex, origin, age, ethnicity or religion. I really like to help people, and I do my best to do to others what I wish they did for me. I also love to learn from others, as much as I like to share.
I am also passionate about cultural diversity: I love to walk side by side with people of different origins, ethnicities and religions, and that's one of the main reasons why I like so much Montreal.
PHILOSOPHY
Follow your heart, trust your gut, never give up on a dream.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I take part in events, mainly language exchange meetings. I do what I can to help others out, while learning and improving my own skills and knowledge. The best part of it, is to meet nice people in the process, and of course, to make new friends! Very soon I'll be able to host! And eventually, surf...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I don't have much experience since I have just taken part in a few events so far. However, the little I've experienced from CS has left me a strong, positive impression of it, be it by the sociable nature of the community or the intelligent yet simple concepts of the events I've participated in. I'm looking forward to experience much more from this amazing community.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I enjoy classical music (Chopin, Vivaldi, Antonin Dvorak, among others), rock classics from the 70s, 80s and 90s (Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, Kansas, Europe, Van Hallen, Skid Row, Journey, Scorpions, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Bon Jovi, and many others), Jeff Beck, Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, some jazz, a few metal bands like Nightwish, Epica, Apocalyptica, and pretty much anything played in a piano, violin, or both. And I like Daft Punk too.
Books: The Art of Travel, by Alain De Botton; The count of Monte Cristo, by Alexandre Dumas (my all-time favourite), Dirty Wars, by Jeremy Scahill, to cite a few. I have read a lot in my teenage days, but nothing that marked me to this day. Most of my present-day reading consists of mostly news (love to stay informed!), reports and articles about history, current events or anything else that interests me.
Movies: Rarely watched any movies these past years...I used to be huge a fan of Star Wars when I was a teenager, but today I'm not as enthusiastic as I back then. I was also a huge fan of TV series (Supernatural, Smallville, etc.), but with time I lost interest for it. I guess I'm a bit indifferent about the seventh art...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
To immigrate to Canada at the age of 18 by myself is something I consider pretty big to my life standards. It's actually the biggest thing I have ever done...
Teach, Learn, Share
I would be more than glad to share information about my experience in Canada (specially Quebec!) as a Brazilian expat, about Canada immigration, studies in Canada as a foreign student, to teach the languages that I know or anything about Brazilian culture. I would love to learn anything that you're willing to share, specially if it matches my interests.
