I live in Paris where I study history of arts and I will be in New York for two weeks in June (the 6th to the 20th). It's a research oriented trip! will be consulting some archive materials about film-making and sculpture of the 60s all day. So, basically I come for work, but I already planned to be distracted by the tons of things and places we can come across in this city. I was once in New York when 14 or so, but I only remember some feelings (and do not want to do the empire state building again), hence I'm very excited to go back and see what it's really about ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Truely interested in other cultures, I often find couchsurfing is a double win: you can meet the locals in a very loose/dense way (it depends), but also the other people coming from elsewhere that are travelling to the same place as you.

Interests

love wine and beer, loud discussions stood on chairs, cinema and strange woven masks from the Salampasu people or elsewhere in Congo. More generally I study the art of the 1960s, am interested in talian and american history and handcrafted stuff, tv shows for empty week-ends, animals, and aïkido, and swimming, ecc.
