About Me

Hi everyone,

Ever since I was about 6 years old, my parental house has been a melting pot of cultures and nationalities. My international influences began by having nannies who stayed at our house for as long as a year from a variety of places from Poland, Ukraine to as far as South Africa. As my three sisters and myself lost the need to be nannied as we grew older, we started receiving friends and couchsurfers through my sister (depicted in my profile pic) who had already travelled to Australia for a year when she was 18. I've always enjoyed the thrill of meeting people who come from an entirely different situation than mine and have always loved to hear their stories and philosophy of life.

I'm easy-going, not very difficult to satisfy and very considerate of people's feelings. All I really expect from people who would like to couchsurf or meet up with me is a form of mutual respect.

If this sounds like someone you would like to hang out with, hit me up and I'll get back to you as soon as possible! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I love to learn and the easiest way to learn is through meeting and engaging in conversation with new people.

Interests

I'm passionate about technology, philosophy, psychology, style in any form from clothes to cars to interior design, basketball and sports in general, culture, art (anything that has a sense of mystique or beauty about it) , nature (I'm a sucker for a good nature documentary), going out for a drink (I like to go to rugged brown bars and have intense conversations and act like a real barstool philosopher but if I've had enough to drink I easily make the transition to the club and get jiggy on some RnB or whatever.), Hiking, yoga, mindfulness, ...

Teach, Learn, Share

As a side job, I tutored non-privileged middle school children in economics and english in 2014-2015 so I do have some teaching experience and am not shy of explaining a thing or 2 :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you about our Belgian culture which is mainly all about beer. So I can basically teach you how to drink beer

In Leuven I can show you around the city and the nice pubs/bars
Same goes for Brussels, I've had experience taking international guests on bar crawls through the city center. You can also find me on showaround: where I'm a registered guide for Brussels: https://www.showaround.com/guides/9509764
I don't really care about the price, if you buy me some beers that would be just as good :-)
