ABOUT ME

I am very easy-going and friendly. I love laughter, relaxing and enjoying life. I do know, however, that life isn't all fun and games and includes matters that require your full awareness and concentration. I love the world and everything it has given me, that is also the reason why I care about it so much.

Interests

I am very passionate about the simple things in life: good food, good company, and good times. I love cooking and trying different foods, food pairings & cultures. I spend most of my time working which allows me to do other things I want to do. I've spent the last 10 years serving at my favourite restaurant which constantly inspires me in the kitchen. In my free time, I like to travel, explore and enjoy life. I also spend a lot of my time working with various social groups, to help my community (immediate and global). Most of the work has been online petition signing and support, but some of the work has been through volunteering for my favoured political party (NDP).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One great memory that really sticks out to me is my adventure to Iguana Island when I was in Turks and Caicos. The day started with a wonderful boat ride with a few friends. It was an absolutely marvelous day. We stopped briefly on this Iguana Island where I quickly found out that it was very appropriately named. The sun was starting to set. We drove back and I decided to sit on the top of the boat above everyone else. One friend was navigating the boat back while the other was being a gracious host and a diligent bartender. Listening to some great music, having a beverage over fairly choppy water, watching the sunset and then seeing a dolphin swim by was very magical.
