Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
expand my social network in my new location; be curious, create, explore and enjoy.
ABOUT ME
A friendly, open-minded, easy-going, sometimes more a patient listener than a talker, respectful, foodie, admirer of vintage style, engineer, scientist, mechanic, keen learner of public speaking and self-educator, explorer. I grew up in Slovakia, studied in Czech republic and recently moved to Zurich for my PhD.
Somehow since the early childhood I have been attracted to technology (cars, planes, machines) but also old movies, art, music, books, etc.(my favourite eras are the 1930s and 1960s). I often find inspiration in the old stuff for innovations for the future (it reminds me that the ultimate sophistication is simplicity). At the same time I am a fan of high-tech and love to use and develop modern technology.
PHILOSOPHY
There are three constants in life... change, choice and principles.
"Things do not necessarily happen for the best, but some people are able to make the best out of things that happen."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, struggling with this question could indicate that I have done just a few amazing things (or that I have a very poor memory which is not the case)... maybe a flight in an ultralight airplane around my country; the most amazing things are still ahead!
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a very curious person and I love learning all kinds of new things. I very much enjoy conversations with experienced people who have managed to succeed in their lives. I find this very inspiring.
