About Me
This is a brief update of the curious new way I've lived since I left my homeland.
I came over from the massive chaotic antithetical São Paulo to live in the bottom of the countryside of Venice. This rural isolated life felt like a 'lockdown' even before the pandemic had spread. I must say, Couchsurfing has been a lifeline for me on multiple occasions, my social savior when loneliness hit me hard. And nowadays I read my description and feel grounded. I'd be happy to be companionship for you if you need it. Travelling has put my head in the right place when I needed to.
I haven't been able to travel as much as I wanted, but my heart is always looking for that glimpse of being here and there again.
*This is not my Tinder

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am an observer; and facing the contrast with others' realities also helps me adjust mine. Ways of living are so different between one another, aren't they? Particularly, it's a pleasure observing/chatting about adulting, as well as feeling the nuances that different cultures add to people's English. I am usually willing always to expand myself language-wise. I still have much to learn.
Interests
Quarantine has taught me how much moving my body affects my psyche, as well as dancing, music and being outdoors.
First things first. A good day begins with coffee and singing. Addicted to both.
I love Hip Hop culture. Bboys dancing and spinning, MCs spitting rhymes and old-school rap. Besides, I've been dancing again.
Guitar playing has been the my tie with music, though I'm very much a beginner at it. I know a couple of Nirvana songs, and some random riffs.
Politics and Psychology are topics that I am very much into. If you like them, we can warm up the tea/coffee and fun is guaranteed. They are my top of mind topics nowadays, besides Languages.
There are a bunch of subjecs that I am passionate about but they are "not inflammated" anymore inside of me. They are like consolidated passions. Physical exercise, sciences, photography, health, well-being, veganism...

Music, Movies, and Books
• My favorite songs are usually within the rock genre spectrum. But I am quite plural. I like music that's made up with effort, intention and passion, but commercial stuff.

• My film is "Eternal sunshine of a spotless mind". In addition, I am really fan of Quentin Tarantino. Cliché but true. I would watch again any of his films (except for Reservoir Dogs). Lol
• I don't read books and you can judge me, I deserve it. All my friends, though, think I'm an enthusiastic reader
¯\_(ヅ)_/¯
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
An anecdote, if you like it. My true story :)
I blew off on a given Saturday suddenly due to this isolation of the countryside. I bought a bus ticket to Bologna and one single night in a hostel. I had 30 minutes to pack my stuff. I did, and I pedalled for 15 km until getting on the bus, that was nearly leaving. Everything in a row. An hour and a half later, I arrive in Bologna, where I slept. The next morning, I turn on hangouts of CS and I meet a french cool girl. We spend the whole day wandering around Bologna, when two girls approached us. To this day, I believe they just wanted to speak to some strangers, but the asked for info. All stores were unexpectedly closing sooner that day. After that "Hey!", we spent 4 hours chatting sat down by the street, drinking and eating. At 3 am, they realized (so did I, haha) that I was "homeless" for that night, and they offer me their couch. I laugh. They insist, it was not a joke. I accepted it. In the day after, the strict lockdown started off. I stayed there, in Bologna, for 4 months. The reddish classic academic left-winged city. I had the best lockdown I could've ever had. I got a friend. A few maybe. Nothing was planned, but running away from what was making me sad.
I shouldn't mention that, I find the story above much better, but I think others might call it "amazing": I rode my moped all the way up from Venice/Italy to Dublin/Ireland. In 4 days. In January (european damn winter). It was pissing rain (punctually hail), the whole time. I didn't manage to see a thing. The German roads were insane. That was too dangerous and so mad that I wouldn't repeat it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I adore teaching. To do it so, I am often seeking for learning. I'm the kind who listens more than speak, but I do like to speak. Not as a mere moment of vanity, however. I see it more like a celebration of sharing ideas.
I'm open to learn about subjects that I have no clue about. My cup of tea are the ones listed under 'what I can offer'
The subjects I would certainly appreciate learning about are...
English/Italian and Dutch/German
Philology in general,
Photography,
Vegan cooking,
Guitar playing
and others that you are able to convince me with your passion.
