I want to travel and get to know another countries, cultures and people to realise how much I like the country I come from.

ABOUT ME

I was born in Prague but I have lived in Nymburk since childhood. When I was 20, I decided to study nature sciences at Charles University in Prague. In 2008 I got a master’s degree in Botanics. The same year I got a job in the Agency for Nature Conservation and Landscape Protection of the Czech Republic (state nature protection), where I have worked for 3 years.
I try to spend free time outdoors – in nature – as often as possible. I like going out for a coffee with friends as well as meeting new people. I love chance meeting because it can bring you new situations, funny stories or even a good friendship. That’s the reason why I have decided to travel. And I would like to start on the other side of the world (from the point of view of European girl :-) ) – at New Zealand!

Music, Movies, and Books

Time to time I go to the cinema (I like the small ones), I like psychological films and movies that make you think about them several hours or even days after watching them (12 Angry Men - 1957, Gran Torino, Earth, Forrest Gump, Matrix - 1999).
I listen to "old" or progressive rock music (Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Dream Theater...), The Frames, Norah Jones, Simon & Garfunkel, Vlasta Redl. But I can listen to every kind of music except disco, country and brass band music :-). I like going to music clubs to enjoy rock/jazz/funk concerts.
Unfortunatelly, I don’t read books much. That’s a mistake, I know :-).
