About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Go hard or go home!

ABOUT ME

Currently wandering around Europe, eating as much meat as possible.

PHILOSOPHY

Eat now, ask questions later.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to the whole shebang but it seems to me to be a particularly brilliant idea. Once I return from my travels and have set myself up in whichever city catches my imagination the most, my couch will be available for anyone and everyone.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I bowled around Europe for a bit during the summer and autumn, meeting various weird and wonderful people on the way!

Interests

I love music, especially live at festivals, football, talking about football, shouting about football etc. decent films and books and socialising with a drink, eating good food, meeting new people and all the good stuff that everyone loves. Oh, and I like architecture, beautiful buildings old and new, and art.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Bruce Springsteen, Willy Mason, Johnny Cash, The Clash, Jeff Buckley, The Kinks, The Streets, The Beach Boys, classic Motown like Stevie Wonder, 80's pop such as Wham! and Duran Duran and stuff like the Strokes and Vampire Weekend. Eclectic, I guess you could say. Love funny films like Superbad, Anchorman, Zoolander, older Disney films, mafia movies and 80's movies such as The Goonies or The Breakfast Club. I just generally love film and will watch anything that looks halfway decent.
Just finished reading the Millenium trilogy, which I enjoyed. Other favourites include The Virgin Suicides, We Need To Talk About Kevin, The Secret History, Trainspotting etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Best thing I have ever seen was the steam coming off Springsteen at Glastonbury, 3 people away from the front. It was a religious experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

Not sure what wisdom I could impart but I can talk to you endlessly about Arsenal Football Club?! They are my personal religion, which can cause arguments and results related pain, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
