About Me
NOW!! MOVED TO MEXICO CITY
AS OF JANUARY 2018:
Living in Bogotá, Colombia. Looking for people to meet, hang out, make new friends... holla at me!
ABOUT ME
I don’t really like talking about myself, but if I have to, well…I have a very strong lust for life! Optimism, openness, profundity, youthfulness, enthusiasm; letting the inside out and the outside in; pushing myself out my comfort zone to learn new thing and become a better person; being able to calm down and perceive everything happening around me; thinking wisely without inhibiting my impulses when the time is right; the harmony of nature and the thrill of a big city; sociability and friendship; and a lot more, but you’ll have to meet me and find out!
I try to get the most out of life. Sometimes I succeed sometimes I don’t, but I understand it’s all a part of a big learning process.
About my personal story: I was born and raised in Buenos Aires and moved to Miami at the age of 10. Living there for approximately 3 years was an experience that really defined me. Being Miami a melting pot of different cultures and people, living there made me a very open guy and understood that prejudgments make the world a colder and unfriendly place.
PHILOSOPHY
Don’t wait for a big and absolute happiness to come because you’ll miss or won’t fully appreciate the little moments of happiness that occur every day; those tiny yet beautiful things that surrounds us make the world a better place.
CURRENT MISSION
Get my degree and travel the world, meet new people and cultures; learn everything I can while I can. E anche migliorare il mio italiano!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is not the places you remember the most but the people you meet there! I’m on couchsurfing for the cultural and personal exchange. Meeting people from all over the world is just amazing for me. I’ve had limited experience but I plan to be a serious user, to host in the best way possible and be hosted showing respect and generosity.
I'm currently hosting people and so far I've enjoyed it a lot!
Interests
I like to meet nice, warm and open people. Catch a laugh with them (or maybe lots!!), get to know them and share thoughts and experiences.
I’m a HUGE football (soccer) fan but unfortunately I'm not a good player ;( Basketball is my natural 'playing' sport. Also anything that involves a racquet. Being a kid in the US made me fall in love with baseball, but our relationship broke once I returned to Argentina...
FOOD, LOTS OF FOOD!! I enjoy eating and trying out meals from all over the world. I’m a sea food lover at heart. Also love pasta (part of my Italian heritage) and since I’m Argentinean I can’t resist eating meat (Asado!!). Also enjoy Asian cuisine (Thai, Vietnam, Japanese). Absolutely love cakes and sweets, and if you catch me at the right time I might do something crazy like eating a bunch of tiny termites from a jungle in Ecuador…
Beer is a big passion of mine (don’t consider me a drunk person tho!). Every type, taste, flavor, color is fine.
I do like to party. Living in Buenos Aires means I won't be able to escape from that anytime soon. Partying ‘till 7 am is normal here, so I’m prepared for anything; bring it on! Don’t get me wrong I also enjoy the calmness of being alone or having a deep conversation with someone.

Music, Movies, and Books
BOOKS
I’m an avid reader and occasional writer. Ernesto Sabato (Argentina) is my favorite writer. I like to read novels that cover I wide variety of topics, existentialism being a must on the list. Philosophy and psychology are also big interests of mine. Over the years I’ve enjoyed the works of Hermann Hesse, Huxley, Bradbury, Orwell, Garcia Marquez, Rimbaud, Artaud, Cortázar… from what I can think of right now
MUSIC
Music is my life and more. I play the drums and currently learning (and not succeeding) piano. As for now I’m recording a album with a funk/rock band and also play cumbia (an Argentinean dance-music) as a hired musician at parties, weddings and the like.
I try to listen and play every genre; diversity is my number 1 rule! Grew up on Tango, then went through a hip-hop/rap fase and continued with rock. Then I studied drums in a ‘black’ music academy (blues, soul, jazz, swing) and the whole music world opened up to me. Right now I mostly enjoy jazz and everything that’s fused with it, but can really listen to anything if the mood is right (like electronic music at parties or classical at the opera).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bungee jumping in Ecuador. Camping trip all along the Patagonia. Machu Picchu for sure. Oh, last but not least, Death Road bike tour in Bolivia (what an experience!!)
Teach, Learn, Share
Music, first of all: I can teach you to play drums, percussion, or actually make a beat out of any object. Rhythm is inside anyone’s soul, even if they didn’t realize it yet; I’ll try to show it to you. Love sharing music from all around the globe, so please brings yours so I can take a listen!
Some basic latin dance lessons can also be given to anyone interested, but you must let your hips loose first ;)
I’d also love to share my art book collection to anyone who knows a little bit about art history, or if you just want to learn and appreciate paintings and painters life-story.
The kitchen is also a must. Learning how to prepare new and exotic dishes and drinks is amazing (unfortunately I’m not that good of a cook but love to learn).
