About Me

NOT ABLE TO HOST AT THE MOMENT

Due to roommate statues I cannot host.
But feel free to give me a buzz if you wanna hangout and I'll do my best :)
***

So I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, but I moved to Spain when I was a child. That makes my Spanish accent kinda a hybrid mess, hehe.
Now I'm living in the bonnie Scotland, working in a tradicional scottish pub in the highlands. It means that my days are full of whisky, pipes and haggis in the food.

I decided to start using more Couch surfing. Even if my account has a few years, I almost never used it. But I have been in a few CS meetings and parties, and that was great! I participated in a CS New Year Party in Buenos Aires, a few years ago. We were more than 50 people from around the world sharing a barbecue and camping on the side of the river and getting wasted the whole night long.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It looks like a better way to meet people to have fun, learn more and enjoy a trip. And I don't wanna start talking to every stranger in a pub to meet buddies in my trip, haha.
So I guess my reason is not particularly original.

Interests

I'm trying to learn new languages, so I would enjoy the opportunity to practice with others.
Now, my high target is to improve my English until I have a high level. Also I've started to learn french recently. But it is self-taught, so it has its ups and downs.

I'm also the kind of guy who always carry a book with him. I love reading all kind of books and visiting bookstores, but I try to go alone so nobody gets angry about how much time I can spend in there.

Of course, I like going to the theatre and I'll appreciate the good company for it.

Yes, there is a big nerd in me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Impossible question to answer. I hate it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled alone across South America for a month and a half, hitchhicking style . It was really an adventure. Back then, I took a lot of rides with lorry drivers. Some nights, I was in such small towns with no hostal or nothing similar, so I had to improvise a lot. he,he
I wish I can repite the experience one time before I die. But longer than the last time.

Teach, Learn, Share

Jack of all trades yet master of none.
I enjoy talks about languages and try to help other that are learning one that I know.

Not a good cook, but an amazing assistant and I don't mind to wash the dishes!

I can always share a bottle of wine, though :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Wait, is not the same question but with other frame?

Well, seriously now. I don't think I have any skill or art to impress my hosts. I can help you with what you need: I can take care of the dinner, but don't expect a 5 stars menu. I'm responsible to respect your space and be tidy and clean with it.

But I understand what implies to be a good guest and to respect the time and the life of my hosts. To spend time with them and have fun, but also to find my owns activities to not be a bummer.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Bolivia, Chile, France, Hungary, Italy, Malta, Netherlands, Paraguay, Sweden, Tunisia, Vatican City State
