I have travelled a lot and I realized that you get to know a place a lot better by interacting with the people, who live there. Through couchsurfing you can get to know many diverese people who you wouldn't meet otherwise and usually you can always learn something from them.
Also I would like to show you around Leipzig after receiving so much hospitality in other countries.
