hello ! my name is lucia, i am argentinian but i am living in belgium! I am 19 years old and at the age of 16 I did a cultural exchange in Belgium and from that moment I stayed here! I am studying economics and management at the university and at the same time I work to be able to pay for my studies! Since I was very young I have been volunteering in my hometown in Argentina, as well as in the north! It is something that fills my heart to do.
I really like surfing and the sea, as well as meeting people and new cultures! I consider myself a very social and open-minded person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm into couchsurfing because I think it's a more enriching way of traveling so I can see the country from another perspective, more real! I believe that it is an experience that can help me grow as a person seeing other realities of life and another culture different from mine and I believe that in this way a beautiful and very interesting cultural exchange can be achieved

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year during the summer I went on a backpacking trip to Patagonia and it was a beautiful experience to be able to discover my beautiful country from another point of view. On this trip we climb the fitz roy mountain which requires a lot of preparation to reach the top where there is a glacier and a lake of two colors

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach about Argentine culture, from its history to cooking typical dishes like milansas, empanadas or a barbecue! and also at the same share our history of lives and interests! I am very interested in Italian culture and learning about its language and history!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer you a cultural exchange about Argentina and Belgium, I can teach Spanish and French as well as our typical dishes from both Argentina and Belgium! And of course, whenever they want, they are welcome both in my house in Argentina and in Belgium.
