About Me
Before anything, like one of my guests said, "this isn't Tinder!"
I'm an outgoing person, always there to help everybody. I lived 6 months in Copenhagen, Denmark for an international exchange at Copenhagen Business School in Fall 2015. It was the best experience of my life, I traveled a lot and met amazing people on the way. After that, I also did a Summer Program at Aalto Univery School of Business in Mikkeli, Finland in July 2017.
I was the head of the exchange crew of my university for 3 years. I liked helping the international students adjust to the life in Lima, both academicly and socially (best parties, never pay entrance). I volunteered because growing up my parents taught me to always be welcoming as people from around the world stayed in our house.
If you've read the references, my dad is mentioned a lot cause he lived with me, but sadly passed away in September 2022 unexpectedly (time passes fast). I would prefer to host women as my dad made me realize women have a harder time feeling safe in other countries and we could offer exactly that.
For now I'm not hosting as I just got a roommate and she doesn't understand Couchsurfing yet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet people from around the world as I travel, and also save some money to keep on traveling and a secure place to stay. I also like to help people that come to my city and show them my point of view on living in Lima. The exchange of cultures is my main goal.
Interests
I love music, nature, culture (dances, architecture, food, traditions, etc.). I went to Denmark to live in a completely different place, get out of my comfort zone and experience another lifestyle and education. Due to my time volunteering at the International Office of my university I got used to living a life in 3 languages at the same time. I like to learn about different lifestyles, cultural differences and practice other languages.

Music, Movies, and Books
Mostly books in spanish like Sergio Bambarén (La Playa de los Sueños), Carlos Ruiz Zafón (La Sombra del Viento) and books I've found a long the way that attract me.
Favorite movies are comedies and action. Favorite one of all times: Shrek. I hate horror movies, I get scared too easily.
I love music! Headphones on and I'm completely disconected from the world. It reflects your mood and describes feelings better.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think the best thing I've done was studying in a completely different country: Denmark. Living with roommates and not having my dad a message away to help me all day (7 hours difference) made me grow and become more independent.
Travelling during that time made me discover myself, achieve my dreams and experience what was missing in me.
Later in 2017, I loved the experience in Mikkeli waking up with the forest outside my window, grilling sausages with my roommie (met her on Couchsurfing), picnic at Pankalampi (the local lake), etc.
Teach, Learn, Share
I cook quite well and I could teach my knowledge on Peruvian food. Also, I'm interested in dishes and ingredients from all over the world. I've been obssesed with merkén (smoked flaked spicy pepper from Chile), rugbrød (Danish black bread), puolukka (small red currants from Finland), red tea from Russia, organic chocolate with passion fruit from Ecuador, Italian style pesto, tapas (Spain), currywurst (Berlin), pasteis de nata (Portugal) etc. Yes, I love food.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As a host I promise I hope I can show you around the city with a different perspective. I love wine and a good beer, usually have some of those at home. And of course, my friendship forever.
P.S. Take in count I work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5:30pm.
