About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Trying to get find my place in the world without forgetting the love for adventure.
ABOUT ME
My name is Giulia, I'm Italian and have lived in Scotland for four years. I'm open minded and ready for new adventures! I try to enjoy my time as much as I can.
I have a degree in journalism: I've wanted to spend my life writing for as long as I can remember. I love people and their stories. I'm fond of everything that's culture, such as literature, films and music, along with traveling of course - and I want my career to blend all these.
After graduation, I decided to take a gap year and travel New Zealand for a few months. Then I came back home for the summer, LOTS of things happened and I'm still here, trying to figure out what's next in my life.
In my free time I like to hang out, read, bake, spend time in the nature - but in an easy going way. My favourite is the beach, to chill out in the sun and have a little swim every now and then. I'm having a bit of trouble dealing with the end of the summer.
I also love parties. I'm into electronic music, especially disco and techno, and will dance for hours in the right setting with a good selection of tunes.
I'm a huge cat lady and will absolutely lose it for your kitty. I love all animals but I've been bitten by a dog when I was 6 so I can be shy with them, although I'm working on it.
I'm super easy going, genuinely curious about people's experiences, and will probably ask you a lot of personal questions to get to know you better.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is an amazing way to travel and meet people. I loved my CS experiences in New Zealand and I'm looking to try it out in Europe too. Currently living back home with my mum who's not up for the idea, but will definitely start hosting once I get my own place.
