I'm Lucía, an hyperactive Spanish-English girl in love with the sun and who cannot stop traveling. I was born in Madrid where I have also studied Jornalism but my heart is in PALMA DE MALLORCA. I have been traveling with my family since i was a baby but I really like traveling with friends or maybe on my own!
My exchange in Rio de Janeiro has marked a turning point in my life... life is too short to be stressed all the time!!I think that the most important thing when traveling is doing SLOW TRAVEL because the main thing is to enjoy your trip and not getting obsessed with obtaining more and more passports stamps... I discovered meditation in 2016 and it try to include it in my daily routine together with some sport. Some questions can't be answered by Google!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Some years ago, when I started to save money, I decided to go further and start traveling on my own or with friends, not with my family. I usually stayed at hostels, where I met people from lots of different parts of the world, but I felt that I was missing the local atmosphere in every country. I think Couchsurfing gives me the opportunity to meet LOCAL people, their customs and where they usually go (and not the typical places for tourists). And It was true!!! In Chile I stayed in a farm with an increidble Chilean family and in Malaysia I stayed with an incredible girl who showed me and my friends the best places in Sarawak.
You may think that in Spain everybody dances flamenco, cooks paella or enjoys bullfighting. Do you want to discover what really happens?
