About Me

CURRENT MISSION

finding joy in anonymity; learning to pack lightly!

ABOUT ME

I'm a twin, and from a big messy family.
I like to have fun, experience new things, and be creative in general.
I am not a smoker, vegetarian or religious, but I am respectful of people that are; I do like to eat drink and be merry, and sometimes I really don't like using a pillow when I sleep.
I want to climb mountains and stand with them and feel tiny and see snow and thunderstorms and drive in a foreign country (or at least ride a bike) and run / dance in the rain and watch the moon sun stars and sleep where my feet stop me. I want safety but adventure, accents and laughter, and dreams of crazy places where i awake confused of reality.

I travelled in Europe last year by myself, and this year I have returned with my family- my Father Paul, and brother Otto, and two sisters Georgena and Charlotte.

I prefer washing dishes to drying them.

PHILOSOPHY

'trust your intuition even if it suggests you should doubt your intuition.'
-my father is wise.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

surfin'.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend hosted a few people at her parents house until they told her to stop inviting random people over. We took them to the local waterhole in a car with a bad sound system and fed them hand cut potato chips from the Rainbow Cafe.

Music, Movies, and Books

Musically, basically everything is good, but generally music with depth, meaning, soul, purpose, influence, singing costumed animals,

Inception, Amelie, Fight Club, Shawshank Redemption, Lord of the Rings, Children of Men, Youth in Revolt; anything clever thought provoking humourous and well made.

Fantasy, trashy no-thought-required teen novels, faux-india-travel-memoirs, Jane Austen, conspiracy theories, Archie comics... words you get lost in, characters you can visualise, places you can touch.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming in pure mountain water in Morocco, so cold that my body stopped and I forgot which way was up.
Flying over Ho Chi Minh city at night, the lights looked like ink in veins, while a thunderstorm hovered overhead, lightning bolts included.
Glastonbury Music Festival 2010; stages packed to capacity, moments of pure joy.
Woodford Folk Festival 2009, dancing in the rain in an audience of 20 to beautiful music.

human loyalty, passion, emotion and memory.

Teach, Learn, Share

I probably have some ability in the way of teaching people to hem and take in clothing... also I like to cook pasta sauce and nachos.
I could teach you how NOT to raise a pet pig?
