About Me

Hey!

How are you? I hope everything's great with you when you're reading this.

I'm Luciana, nice to meet you. :)

I'm from São Paulo, SP, Brazil.

I am very lively. I love going out, talking, drinking, listening to music, seeing different places and people. And I love taking people to know different places and new things.

I work at the Justice Courts of São Paulo with violence against women and as a clinical psychotherapist.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to get to know new people, places and culture.
Whenever I can I go to the CS meetups and hangout with people from here, in my city or wherever in the world I'm traveling ;)
I really like to make connections and I believe that everybody that crosses our path, even for a second, brings a meaning to it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like hardcore, punk, ska, rock, but also some lighter/more pop stuff... I listen to a lot of female singers, indie music, rock, some folk and that sort of thing. I also like irish music.

Books: Clarice Lispector is my favorite author. Lately I'm reading a lot of buddhist books, despite I don't consider myself a buddhist in the religion therms, I pretty much like the concepts and the values. Eg: Dzogchen Ponlop, Kristin Neff, Tsoknyi Rinpoche, Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo, are the authors of the last books I've read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's always been my dream to travel to Ireland, I don't know why.

So in 2013 I finally did it, by myself, and it was amazing.
Before I was a very shy and introverted person, and after traveling by myself for almost a month there, I felt much more open to myself, to other people and to the world. So i've kept doing it :)

After that I've traveled by mylsef a few more times, including again to Ireland and to 9 more countries - and counting.
