I am a brazilian musician playing keyboards and accordion professionally. I play other instruments but not as good. Been a singer for some time then ultimately decided to focus on playing.

I live in a 2-bedroom apartment with my fiancée Angelica, and 2 little pinscher dogs. The dogs will bark a bit (but that's what dogs do 8) )

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been to Europe in 2015 for the Wacken Open Air festival, with my sister, and had my first Couchsurfing experience. It worked out very well! So now I'm about to travel once more, and thought we've might also host people in Belo Horizonte.
While I haven't been an active user, me and Angélica plan to change that.

I'd like to listen to live music from different places in the world. How musicianship is seen by other cultures. I'm very into board games as well.
Very curious about dishes abroad - and I don't mean cuisine and all, I mean real world food!

Interested in those local places that foreigners hardly know about.

I collect coins from everywhere - I got mostly Brazilian coins but I'm willing to trade! I got a lot of stuff from Brazilian 70s and 80s (Cruzados, Cruzeiros Reais and such). Trying to complete the full Euro coins set from every nation.

I'm a musician, playing a variety of genres. I'm in a band called The McMiners, playing Celtic Rock. And I also play a lot of popular musical genres here in Brazil such as Forró and Sertanejo (even though I like rock music mostly).

I've been a movie aficionado for most of my life. Always been into Kubrick, Tarantino, Scorsese, Christopher Nolan, to name a few.

Isaac Asimov is my most read writer ever. This year I have read Orwell's "1984" and Huxley's "Brave new world". Mind-blowing experience. Should've read them sooner. I'm currently reading Bernard Cornwell's The Saxon Stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Released a physical music album (actually two!).
In 2016 The McMiners released a 5-track EP called County Cross (it's on Spotify)!
And now, March 2017, we released our second EP. It's called "Tales of Betrayal and Deceit". Will be on Spotify this April!
