I studied and graduated in Audiovisual Design in the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina. I work as video editor and cameraman, mostly for tv shows and web productions. I also was a film editing teacher for four years at the University of Buenos Aires. I love photography and spend my free time taking pictures.
I love to travel. Is where I invest the money I earn. Gives me life.

Estudié y me gradué en la carrera de Diseño de Imagen y Sonido en la Universidad de Buenos aires, Argentina. Trabajo como editor de video y camarógrafo, mayormente para programas de TV y producciones para web. A su vez, trabajé como docente en la Materia Montaje II en la Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) durante 4 años. Por otro lado me gusta mucho la fotografía y paso mi tiempo libre tomando fotos.
Me encanta viajar. Es donde invierto el dinero que gano. Me da vida.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel around the world. I am very interested in meeting people from different parts of the globe, learning and knowing their culture, and also teaching and sharing my own. I want to see and know things from a different point of view. Every time I travel I try to avoid the classic trip of the average turist, I want to get lost in the cities, their landscapes and their people. And I think that couchsurfing is ideal for that.

Amo viajar alrededor del mundo. Estoy muy interesado en conocer gente de diferentes partes del mundo, aprendiendo y conociendo su cultura, y también enseñando y compartiendo la mía. Me interesa ver y conocer las cosas desde un punto de vista diferente. Cada vez que viajo trato de evitar el viaje clásico del turista promedio. Me gusta perderme en las ciudades, en sus paisajes y su gente. Y creo que couchsurfing es ideal para eso.

Interests

I really enjoy the cultural life of every place I travel to. The people, their traditions: food, music, etc. I love history and geography. To travel to historical and influential cities. I think of them as "museums at open air". Their ancient and actual architecture. I also enjoy being surrounded by nature, enjoying landscapes and trekking long distances. Mountains, country side and beaches. Everything! I love art: literature, painting, photography, music, but specially cinema.

Disfruto mucho la vida cultural de cada lugar al que viajo. Su gente, sus tradiciones: comidas, música, etc. Amo la historia y la geografía. Me encanta viajar a ciudades históricas e influyentes. Pienso en ellas como "museos al aire libre". Su arquitectura antigua y actual. Así como también disfruto de los pequeños y sencillos pueblos. También me gusta estar rodeado de naturaleza, disfrutar de paisajes y caminar largas distancias. Montañas, campo y playas. ¡Todo! Me encanta el arte: literatura, pintura, fotografía, música, pero sobre todo el cine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2011 I went with 3 friends in a 2 months backpacking trip to Bolivia and Perú. Machu Picchu was amazing, we all agree on that. But the most important thing I have done on that trip, (that was so unbelievable, so surreal and so astonishing) was walking around a long an ancient Inca trail in Bolivia. It's call "El Camino del Choro" (The Choro Trail). It's a 3 day trekking trip that starts in the high cold mountains out side the city of La Paz (the capital of Bolivia) with snow and llamas, and ends in the hot and humid jungle near the town of Coroico, with mangos and monkeys! We walked 6 hours per day but it worth so much! Being with friends but also with yourself surrounded with nature and meeting with Indigenous people who lived there and also didn't even speak in spanish! The trail is so isolated that even some local people (especially the oldest ones) doesn't know how to speak in spanish, the official language of Bolivia, the country they live in. That trail was without doubt, the most amaizing experience I ever had.

En 2011 fui con 3 amigos en un viaje de mochilero por 2 meses a Bolivia y Perú. Machu Picchu es increíble, todos estamos de acuerdo en eso. Pero lo más importante que he hecho en ese viaje, (que fue tan increíble, tan surreal y tan asombroso) fue una caminata alrededor de un antiguo sendero inca en Bolivia, llamado "El Camino del Choro". Se trata de una caminata de 3 días que comienza en las altas cumbres montañosas a las afueras de la ciudad de La Paz con nieve y llamas; y termina en la calurosa y húmeda selva cerca de la ciudad de Coroico con mangos y monos! Caminamos 6 horas por día, pero ¡valió tanto la pena! Estar con amigos, pero también conmigo mismo, rodeado de naturaleza y cruzándote con gente en su mayoría indígenas que vivían allí y que siquiera hablaban en español fue algo sencillamente inmpresionante! El sendero está tan aislado que incluso algunos indigenas de la zona (especialmente los más ancianos) no saben hablar en español, la lengua oficial de Bolivia, el país en el que viven. Ese sendero fue sin duda la experiencia más fascinante que he tenido.
