About Me

I am a really easy-going person. I really like to travel and meet new people from all over the world. I have no problem sleeping anywhere, because I know that when you're traveling you never know what to expect and you have to be ready for anything.

I studied languages and philosophy and love yoga and meditation. I'm also a vegetarian.

I'm currently working as a teacher at the German school in Bogota.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel and meet new people. Couchsurfing is a great way to meet people the world over who are not only from a different nationality but also very open, generous and friendly. To have the opportunity to receive so much from others and give it back is the best thing that Couchsurfing offers.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite music is rock, but I really like techno to dance to and I enjoy classical music and jazz very much too.

My favourite movie is I'm not there (2007) by Todd Haynes, but I absolutely love all Wes Anderson films.

My favourite book is Rayuela, by Julio Cortázar, but I like all books in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once travelled for two weeks in France, Germany and Belgium without any money. I did not use CouchSurfing either, because I had no phone, no computer, nothing. I just walked out of my house and faced whatever I found. I slept in many strange places and met very nice people. Some people had me over at their house, others took me in their cars, other gave me food and money, and other I gave food and money to. It was an amazing and liberating experience.

Another cool thing I did recently was the 10-day Vipassana retreat in Bogotá, Colombia. https://www.dhamma.org/en/index

I've also participated in many traditional shamanic ceremonies with different Native American peoples and traditions.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: yoga, meditation techniques, any language I know, songs, travel experiences, etc.

Learn: a language, about local culture, about a specific trade or profession, about others' lives and experience, meditation techniques, songs, etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will gladly share all I know from what I have lived. But the best thing I can give anyone are open ears and a kind heart to hear what they have to say and learn to know them as much as I can. I want to spread love and compassion everywhere!
