Hi you ! I am Lucía from Buenos Aires, Argentina ! I am a french translation student currently working in the beautiful city of Reims, in France. I came here as a language assistant with a very open spirit and eager to meet lots of new people and stories, and I'm happily making new friends and learning new stuff al the time.
Also, I work with children and teenagers so it pushes me every day to innovate and try to be as dynamic as possible <3

I would say the basic thing about me is that I love learning in every way, so I always enjoy talking to people and knowing a bit more about them, their way of seeing the world, life, etc. I came to France to learn to live in a different culture and society, so to me every day something new and unknown shows up and I love it !
I also love spending my free time sharing meals with people, talking, walking around, dancing, singing, going biking, whatever plan comes to our minds.

I'm here because I find it's the best way to know local hosts and make friends at the same time, I like travelling alone but also talking with different people who can teach me something new about them, the place, whatever :) I really take it as an enormous act of kindness and humanity to open your house to a stranger to host him, so I truly thank for it and I always prioritize good communication and energy.
Also, I've been living with different roommates since I moved away from home so I'm very used to sharing space and time with people.

Centres d'intérêt

I love reading, knitting and doing pottery (yes! though i don't have the space now to do it :/). However I've been having a hard time finding the time and mental state to do these activities, so I would say I now spend most of my time hanging with friends and luckily travelling as much as possible.
I am also passionate about languages (I study translation, hello). I love playing board games, doing exercice (I used to do a lot of yoga and acroyoga), and I like mostly visiting natural places and being in the nature. I love cities too but I always prefer to see a bit of green, smell the fresh air.
ALSO if you like doing escalade and want to share your knowledge, I would love to!!!!

Movies: recently watched the "Free solo" documentary (amazing and inspiring), a short series on Osho's cult (Wild Wild Country), The queens Gambit, Fleabag, Casino by Scorsese, Parasite, etcccc
Stuff I've read and loved: Journey to the end of the night-Celine, an argentinian author called Mariana Enriquez, I have a very bad memory but in short I love reading I take any recommendations you have and will surely try to recommend you smth

I could teach you spanish, argentinian spanish :p knitting, yoga poses (the ones i remember, we can also do some youtube video hahaha), things from my country and culture (nope, I don'tdance tango but again, we can try). I also recently learnt to cook seafood pasta so I can cook you that :p and other veggie meals cause I eat mainly veggie
As i said i'm always eager to learn, teach me anything !
