About Me

CURRENT MISSION

42. what was the question again?

ABOUT ME

"Size matters not. Look at me. Judge me by my size, do you? Hmm? Hmm. And well you should not. For my ally is the Fork, and a powerful ally it is."
Master Yoda (training spaghetti Padawans)

Or else, as my friends told me, I am
-a pirate bat
-the red angry bird
-a pidgeon riding a cow
-the blue unicorn in Charlie's story
-a follower of the Greek god protecting ink printers
I could go on, but I'd better not.

PHILOSOPHY

"Do. Or do not. Whatever"
(Master Yoda, depressed after watching the new trilogy)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It works like this: I decide I will go somewhere, I log in the website, research people in the area of interest, I select the ones that seem to be compatible with my peculiar insanity; I write something nice and random, get answers, go to the place, have fun with the people, sleep on the couch, stuff like that. It's not a very sophisticated process, really.

The other way round is trickier, because I tend never to live where I think I do. My geographical confusion is just one of the consequences I get from being awesome ("special" we call it) and from being changing places all the time. Sorry for that, I will definitely host you somewhere, I just have no idea as to where.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some were good, some were better. I tend to make friends first and then chase them around the world, and since I'm travelling alone quite a lot, I'm a huge fan of casual encounters. So, I met quite a bunch of cool people around and I trust humanity to keep providing me with those.
De facto, I'm travelling constantly now and I don't really plan to stop. So, let's do it together, alright?

Interests

with some hint of absurdity and randomness, anything is interesting. but I could spend hours, probably days, talking about music, spaceships, embarrassing bodily fluids, normal fluids (especially liquid helium), flamingos, literature (Vogon poetry is a plus), art, food, and that strange thing hanging from my head. oh no wait that's my nose.

Music, Movies, and Books

yeah, a lot of those. Please.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This one time I saved the planet from my own joke. It was amazing. People went crazy. Then I spoke again and it all went back to normal.

Teach, Learn, Share

that's what I do

What I Can Share with Hosts

The Italian in me says it all starts with wine. The German adds beer and herbal tea on top of it. A Brit passing by throws some music to the pile. A Canadian insists on being ridiculously kind and sharing and adventurous. A Portuguese points out that there's not enough food, but the Italian starts yelling gibberish and shaking his mustache towards a bowl of pasta the size of the Mediterranean sea. The German tries to intervene, but gives in and goes to the top corner of the room with the Scandinavian gang. They don't greet her. They are absolutely silent. Except for the Icelander, who's singing by itself and occasionally exploding things that fill the room with smoke.
Yeah, it's a bit messy in here. You get the picture.
