HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Going to meetings, hosting, surfing, guiding on the city where I live, trying to help for travels and spreading the CS spirit between the people I meet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experiences were as guide in Alicante (Spain) and joining some meetings there, and later, surfing in different cities during my first interrail trip in Europe. Now I also use to host as many people as I can and I try to meet some new people in the different cities where I travel even if I don't need a host as I think that the best way to travel is knowing the non-turistical places, meeting people who live there, learning how they live, where they use to go, etc.

Reading, writing, music, nature, mountains, traveling, traveling and traveling (and traveling), bicycling, psychology, philosophy, human beings, my lovely Africa and its cultures, cultures in general, couchsurfers, ecology, photography, cooking, learning and teaching, languages... and, as some people use to say, to ""waste"" the time from time to time!!

I love hundreds of movies, books and bands of music as I love different styles of them but I will try to give an idea about it.

Movies: La belle vert (the green beauty), Into the wild, Life is beautiful, Patch Adams, Fight Club, V for Vendeta, K-pax, Alice in Wonderland, Amelie...

Books: Philosophy and psychology and books like Le petit prince (one of my favorite ones), Alice in wonderland, Into the wild, Brave new world, the alchemist, the pillars of the earth, the praise of folly, The papalagi, the name of the rose, Don Quijote, Man's search for meaning...

Music: Specially almost all kinds of rock, heavy metal, grunge, jazz, blues, reggae and classic music.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

- My first Inter Rail trip on 2010.
- The year living and studying in The Netherlands bicycling everywhere no matter the whether.
- The most spontaneous trip ever to a small village on the north of Germany (Gross Salitz) to celebrate a family summer party. (Thanks to Ron, Laurens, friends and family).
- The crazy space days in Groningen.
- Joining 4 times an European Parliament Project with 16 years old thanks to my environmental worries.
- Traveling to Germany just to surprise spontaneously to one of my best friends.
- Winning a philosophical debate about cultural relativism with 18 years old.
- The cold Norway and their amazing fjords.
- When my cooperation dream became real in Nemba (Rwanda) - Africa
- Coming back to my lovely Nemba (Rwanda) and feeling part of it.
- Finding myself through others during my intercultural EVS in Luxembourg.
- Morocco by van
