ABOUT ME

I'm originally from Czech Republic having lived in Portugal and Scottland for a while, moved to Dublin few months ago. Studied sociology as I am keen on politics and society and conterporary global issues. The time at the university has given me an ability to look at the society and other cultures in different point of view and taught me not to think in the stereotype way of thinking.
I also had a great opportunity to spend one semester in Portugal where I met a great bunch of people and where I started with couchsurfing.
When I finish my studies I started to work in the best hostel in the city :))) I spent two wonderful years there full of new working experience and met lots of interesting people.
After those two years I felt I have to move on and make some change not to get stuck - so I moved to Dublin... and here I am :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined CS when I was doing my Erasmus studying program in Portugal. I had a lot of fun and gained so much interesting experiences through CS :) CS has given me great opportunity to meet interesting people and share our experiences and be inspired by interesting people.
CouchSurfing is not just about spending a night somewhere because you don't want to spend your money on accommodation! It is much more! Of course it is a benefit you don't have to pay for it but It is all about the comunuty of people who share the same idea and the spirit.

Interests

I have lots of interests! :)) starting with travelling, running, meeting new people and learning new languages. i love any kind of good music! That's probaby the reason why I love Dublin so much. There is live music on every corner, in every pub. I used to play guitar but as I haven't played for a while I forgot - but I want to learn it again! :)
Also my family is always on the first place and I even though they live far from me, keeping in touch is essential for us.
I really enjoy hanging out with cool and interesting people - can just chat or go for a drink and just chill out.

There are more things than just one. All is connected with travelling - travelling around Portugal and Madeira, surfing in Portugal, visiting Mexican pyramids and also joining CS comunity! :)

I can share my experience about travelling, hospitality industry and cultural experience. I love learning new languages and like to cook and try new flavours.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live in small one-bedroom apartment, I can offer small couch or possibly an air bed.
I am very busy at work so if you want to stay at my place, send me as much info about yourself as you can :) I am always happy to host interesting people if my schedule allows me
