Overview
About Me
I'm a single father, writer, web developer, IT Geek, Spartan OCR addict, who is not afraid to make a complete ass of myself to enjoy a little adventure. I live with my 2 oldest kids, both in college and living off their dad (me), an energetic dog who requires walking 3-5 miles daily, which is good for both of us. I could go on, but heck, this isn't a dating site. How much do you really want to know...?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My kids have out grown the need for constant attention, which frees me up for other fun stuff like traveling and enjoying the company of interesting travelers. I work out of my house, or anywhere there is an internet connection, so my time and location are very flexible. So why not travel more, and host travelers. I live in a wonderful small town on the east coast, close to Philly, NYC, DC, and NJ so I'm in a great location for anyone venturing out to see the east coast of the world (or just the USA). I love meeting new and interesting people. When my son and I backpack the AT, one of the best parts is all the cool people we meet from all over. Why not meet them in the comfort of my home, or their home if I am the one couch surfing.

What I Can Share with Hosts
My home has a spare bedroom, spare full bath, good sized finished basement with TV/Video/Game Systems, wireless internet. Plenty of couch or floor surfing. You probably won't die from my cooking, and I make great coffee if that's your thing.
