My name is Lucie, I am a french woman from Normandy and my husband is Tabari, he is from Barbados. We have 2 kids, a girl and a boy.

I always talk as "we" because I do not feel like a "I" anymore. But in a good way. We are a couple who like to be together and also we are a family who try as much as we can to travel together.
We live in the countryside. We love good food, meet people and travel.

We have been in couchsurfing before, we have met a lot of people who came to sleep in our appartment (from all over the world).
Then we moved to the countryside and we had another baby so we took some times apart for us.
Now we are ready to welcome again with more space to share and a garde to relax, or to garden if u feel like. ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We used to be on couchsurfing before but then we moved and had another kid so we've stopped it. But we love the idea of traveling and meet local people just like we love to welcome people in our house to know more about them and their country.
That is why I am back on it !!

I used to accept last minute request but now I am more thinking about my family. So text me when you are planning your stay and tell me more about you.

Still, my first experience as a host was 2 german girls who were experiencing a bad couchsurfing and asked me a last last minute request and of course I couldnt let them sleep outside.

In case of emergency you can ring of course !!

Interests

I love to move around I canno't stay in the couch and do nothing. This is me!
I also njoy walking in the nature. I do medidate anytime I have a chance.

My husband like football and sports in general.. he is a sailor instructor, he has good vibes and energy, he is always positive and if he starts to share some good rum with you it's because you are appreciated. ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

We love soca and french music in general.
We love dancing, even our kids.
I do read a lot about spirituality, humanism, and some true story.
We don't watch much the TV. Some series sometimes on Netlfix.
We loved the serie "This is us" and "Peaky blinders".

Traveling to Barbados where I met my Husband.
My life wouldnt be the same without him.

Teach, Learn, Share

I used to be a tour guide so I can tell you about the History, the WW2 as we are closed to de D-DAY beaches and some other must-see places.
We can give you some good adresses and a list of places to visit.
We like to learn about everything but most likely about how people live in their own country.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A bedroom with a double sized bed. A private bathroom for you and toilets.
Our host will be joining us for meals but he can also use the place as he wish.
We can also come to the train station if we are available.
We are a nice family with good vibes, but still we sometimes struggles like any other people on earth. We are humans.
We are usually in a good mood but I canno't promise of my kids behavior. :D
Kids you know move around, and ask a lot of questions. :)
