My name's Lucie, I'm 23 years old. Although I've lived in France all my life, I am also half-American.
In 2017, I spent the year in Australia, a country I'd been dying to explore for a long time now. The environment there has been fascinating to me : the people, the musical scene, the wildlife...I made incredible friends and most of it wouldn't have happened without Couchsurfing.

I believe the concept of this site is much nicer than just a regular night at a hostel.

Because I love meeting new people, (it's just part of who I am, and how I was educated), I think it allows me to live a real experience in a new place with a host who knows his/her way around the city and who can be part of the memories I'll make here. I met a great friend in the Netherlands through this website and we were able to meet up on the other side of the world. I'm so grateful that because of these connexions I was able to arrive to a new country with someone ready to host me and show me around!

I'm very friendly, trustworthy and respectful of other traditions and habits. I will make sure my stay/your experience of hosting me is as good as possible! :)
