My name is Lucie.
I would describe myself as a dreamer, a bit quirky. I am also someone quite quiet. Not someone who speaks loudly and does anything to get attention.
I love having quiet deep conversations with somebody in an intimate setting, rather than being in a large group of people. But everything depends on the moment.

I see and I feel so much beauty around me. The beauty of a landscape, the sweetness of an atmosphere, the expressions of someone's emotions, are as an energy that I put deep inside myself, and that submerges my heart.
I like my way to feel life, I like what is authentic. Therefore, I have difficulty with false and dishonest persons. Whether they are dishonest to others or to themselves.

I love going alone, often with music in my ears, sit somewhere (I like to sit on a high place) and just admire the view.
I love walking, especially with a dog. I really love dogs, I would like to manage a kennel later. I have really a special connection with dogs.

I'm obsessed with the desire to travel alone in places that make me dream, like Ireland, that I have already visited in 2010 to visit a friend who was Erasmus. I only spent 4 days there. But I fell in love with that country and I fell in love with travelling.
There must be so much more freedom when you travel alone!
I am so hungry for new enriching experiences, for meeting new people, new backgrounds, new everything !

I want to come back to Ireland alone, and handle it by myself. And experience, share, live !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really appreciate this kind of platform! It is so interesting to meet people and to discover new places. I also want to make discover new places to people coming along.
I really want to share moments with people I just met. I travel to feed my need for freedom and new experiences.
My favorite moment to talk with someone is overnight and outside. What a beautiful moment spent together!

WHY I'M ON COUCHSURFING FOR MY TRIP IN IRELAND :
I want to serenely enjoy Irish life and people from all backgrounds.
I am an open-minded person, with the desire to share great time with each person who will cross my road. Discover them around tea, beers, food, or while walking together.

I love biopics because they are mix of history, discovering people who change the world their way, and cinema, an art that I love!
I also like romance films, and thrillers.

And my favorite actor is Eddie Redmayne, my favorite actress: Angelina jolie.

Music:
I listen to a little of every kind of music. Of course, everything depends on my mood.

I really love Irish traditional music ! That's so warm and exciting ! Since I am young, I often listen to one song in particular, because we have the album at home :
Gwendal - Irish Jig ! And I often go on Youtube to listen to Irish music.
In a same line of idea, I really love Mumford And Sons !
I also love rock ! My favorite song ever is Creep by Radiohead.

My favorite writers are Nicci French (a couple of British writers).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For myself, I would say going alone for a walk in a foreign country. For me, that is the most wonderful and amazing thing that I have done.
It is good for you to know that I am amaze with very little things ! ;)

And for others, I guess it is making smile and giving hope of those who had lost them.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I cannot really host people, because I live at my mother's house.
But I can make you discover pleasant walk to do, I can share a meal or grab some beer in a nice bar in Bertrix, going in Bouillon (which is a beautiful touristic little city, crossing by the river Semois,...) if I have time.
