About Me
Hi, I am Lucy and last year I spent three months volunteering and hitchhiking in Japan.
I encountered a great hospitability both from local people and fellow travelers there and I vowed to give part of it back by helping travelers in Prague - so even though I can't host you now, I am happy to meet with you or provide you with tips. 🙂
One of my goals is get to know and to experience different cultures, environments, to understand different values and meet new people.
I am a bit nerdy, I love science and technologies and anime, but also love food, music, reading books, taking pictures, relaxing strolls, conversation with friends, parties...
Sometimes I am too shy to try crazy things out, but a lot of things I was talked into turned out to be great experiences, so just be persistent with your crazy ideas!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet interesting people and learn about foreign cultures and to become less "eurocentric". Also to help other travelers who want to discover Czech Republic :)

Music, Movies, and Books
It´s hard to pick, but here: Ghibli movies (yaay), Into the Wild, Lord of the Rings, Almost Famous, The Fifth Element. And my favourite series are Battlestar Galactica, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Ghost in the Shell, Gilmore Girls (each is totally different, I know :D).
And books, well I read a lot, so just to name a few: On the Road (J. Kerouac), Shogun (J. Clavell), Good Omens (N. Gaiman and Terry Pratchett), Land of Fire and Ice (G.R.R. Martin), Fight Club (Ch. Palahniuk)...
As far as music is concerned, I like to listen to a wide range of genres from blues and rock, through irish folk and soundtracks to metal and electronics.
