ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Lucie. Originally from Scotland (minus the cool accent), currently living in Bergen as a student. I come from a family of restless souls who like to move about, which is probably why I don't attach to places very easily. Hoping to first be a host for travellers looking to crash on my couch for a night or two, and eventually get on the road myself!

Mostly because I want to meet new people here in Bergen, and make sure they get an awesome experience, but also because I want to have the opportunity to travel cheap to a variety of diffent countries.

Favourite movies: This Is England, The Breakfast Club, Blue is the Warmest Colour, Like Crazy, Into The Wild, The Planet of the Apes series. I love most genres, but my favourites are horror, documentaries and art films.

Music: John Mayer, Tracy Chapman, Of Monsters and Men, Lana Del Rey, Jessie J, Ed Sheeran, The Lost Twenties, The Head and the Heart, Sons of the East. Otherwise I'm again into most genres, but love indie, latina, party, folk, soul etc.

Books: Eating Animals, Into The Wild (yes, that one again), Cleo, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, anything by Darren Shan, The Fault in Our Stars, Memoirs of a Geisha, Annie on my Mind, Naive Super, Doppler, Noughts and Crosses, etc.

I'm a little quiet, but that doesn't mean I don't like people! I speak fluent Norwegian and English, I understand a little Swedish and Russian and I'm looking to learn plenty of other languages on the way (especially Dutch , please teach me Dutch!!). I'm a positive person who loves to be spontanious! I love nights out and getting to know people over a beer.

I'm also into the freeganism movement, and dumpster dive 2-3 times a week. I love to take people out on my trips, so just say the word!

I can teach English and Norwegian, and I also know quite a lot about animal rights. I read a lot and have seen a lot of films, so if you have any books you're finished with, bring them along and we can exchange. I'm also really into politics, although I'm more of a listener than a talker!
