About Me

Hello,

I have been a member for more than 10 years, but multiple glitches on Couchsurfing website caused me to create a new account.

My name is Lucie, I am 31, and if I could, I would travel every day. I love to discover, to learn, to always see new things. Travelling is the definition of that, so it makes sense I love it. And my experiences on Couchsurfing were always among the most memorable, that's why I'm coming back.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because when I travel, I always feel the need to be in touch with the locals, at some point. To spend an entire trip alone in my hotel room, not talking to anyone, would be a failure for me. The problem is, I'm quite introvert at first, and as time goes by, people in general are really harder to get in touch with, including in my home country. This makes me a bit sad, and to me, Couchsurfing keeps a flame between people on.

Interests

I love to talk about very diverse subjects, I don't have many taboos. I am really fond of art, history, travelling (of course). Cinema, music and literature are fundamental in my life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies : too many to make a list. I love horror/fantasy/sci-fi, comedies, romance. I'm a little bit more into older productions, from France, US and Eastern Asia.
Music : also too many, but I'm definitely into old electronic music, goth and OST. And Amy Winehouse.
Books : Betty Blue by Philippe Djian. Quinzinzinzili by Régis Messac. Jonathan Livingstone by Richard Bach. Others : Virginie Despentes books, The Perfume, Rhinocéros by Ionesco, Animal Farm by Orwell, On the road by Kerouac, Baudelaire's poetry, Nazim Hikmet, etc.
