About Me

Hi there! I’m currently living in a tiny room in Cambridge so I’m not able to host. But my mom is happy to host people in our home in Dacice!

After living in the Canadian mountains and traveling in North Africa and South East Adia, I recently relocated to Cambridge, UK for a job in a tech startup (bye bye customer service and hospitality jobs tucked away int he most remote areas with some incredible views).

I'm a huge adventure enthusiast so usually try to get out as much as possible and connect all trips with meeting people along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to meet new people and learn from them and their opinions and ways of lives, to compare them with mine and figure out what this is all about. I love spontaneity and wondering aimlessly - every experience of meeting a stranger usually brings some inspiration and good stories to tell to my future grandkids.

Interests

I like meeting interesting people (and finding interesting things in ordinary people) and going out of my comfort zone of an introvert in general. I love long night discussions about various topics - from your last trip to the ultimate purpose of life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to everything from Chopin to Beatles, but my absolute favourite is indie rock (maybe that's why I love the Pacific Northwest so much).

Books - a love-hate relationship with Kundera, but his Unbearable Lightness of Being is a long-term favourite. I'm also currently trying to catch up with all the classics and want to find out why they are actually considered classics

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A low-cost hitchhiking race with checkpoints and challenges all around Europe was a unique experience (and I love to talk about it, so please do ask me about it)!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share with you my wanna-be life thoughts and random facts about whatever I'm currently passionate about, a healthy dose of sarcasm, my love for linguistics, and of course, I can teach you some Czech. In general, I help where I can and try to be as adaptive as possible so my stay won't be a burden in any way!
