I’m currently doing an exchange semester in Trondheim, Norway, and I fell in love with the Scandinavian vastness of nature, the endless days in summer and the northern lights!

I like to be quite curious and active. I’m eager to discover as much as possible from the core of the earth to the outermost layers of the atmosphere and all the complex connections among natural/social/technical and economical sciences in between. This is why I really enjoy studying Environmental sciences!
I try to be outdoors as much as possible and beside hiking and skiing I’m constantly trying new sports. So I was sailing on the Mediterranean last summer and I plan to begin paragliding in the Alps this summer. Besides, I really enjoy doing Rhönrad at home in Switzerland (see picture) and I'm currently helping some friends building a sailing boat.

Music, Movies, and Books

My current favourite books are Harry Potter as the books of my childhood, the century trilogy of Ken Follett as they helped me to understand why Europe is the way it is now and The Hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy- the humour and the ideas in it are amazing!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming in the sea with bioluminescent plankton... Nature will never cease to amaze me! =)
