About Me

I'd say I'm a spontaneous and peaceful person :) I hate all forms of violence. I'm also very gourmand, good food is a important aspect of my everyday's life and I love to share and discovers new culture!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The first time I met a Couchsurfer was during a week I spent at my bestfriend's flat in Budapest. We spent most of our time together visiting the city. He explained to me how he met some amazing people via Couchsurfing during his trip in Europe.
So here I am on Couchsurfing ready to share experiences with people, to learn new cultures, and to discover great places in beautiful cities, that only local people know about.
And after to receive couchsurfers in Toulouse so that I feel like I'm kind of "still travelling"!

Interests

SPORTS

I'm like a little fish in water :) Swimming is like breathing for me, it allows me to unwind and feel free.
I've been synchronized swimming since 2005, and competed in national competitions. This taught me lots of things: teamwork is one of the most important things in life and to push myself beyond my limits.

Rock'n'Roll, Salsa, Bachatta, West Coast Swing: I also really enjoy dancing, not nightclub dancing, I'm more of a couple dancer! I started learning in my university, and after in a danceschool. I've also given Rock'n'Roll classes with my boyfriend to couples for their opening wedding dances.

ART

I like to decorate things my own way, to create things such as original notebooks with photos or brazilian bracelets, and even land art (creations using nature). I'm accustomed to organize artistic activities with children in day care center during holidays.

WAY OF THINKING
I'm ecologically aware and therefore I try to do something for our environnement. I've cut down on waste, I don't eat any meat, I use a cupissima instead of tampons: girls, if you don't know what it is, you really have to try it ;). And I am studying environnemental law.
Besides, I'm a person who strongly believes in positive thinking, I'm convinced that the way you think influences a lot your life :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy different types of music, but I particulary enjoy electro swing, it's happy and it's swing !

I'm not a movie nerd, but some of my favorite films are Back to the future, The Lord of the Rings triology, Inception, Into the wild, Grease, Dirty Dancing, Catch me if you can, The Help.

I've read a lot during my teens. Now I don't have as much time to read as I had before but I still really enjoy it. Some of my favorite books authors are Dan Brown ; Bernard Werber, who wrote The Encyclopedia of Absolute and Relative Knowledge, and Carlos Ruis Zafon, who wrote La Sombra del Viento.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The three month I spent in Bad Zwischenahm, a little town near Bremen in Germany. I was 15 years old, my german knowledge was pretty bad (my english was even worse), and I stayed in a family and went to german school. Not easy at first as I couldn't understand a lot. Thus a rough start, this experience made me more mature and independant, and by the end I was fluent in german, I met some great german people, and I got to try all kinds of beers!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm born and raised in Toulouse, so as I know the area around pretty well, I can show you this amazing city!
I can also teach you how to dance rock'n'roll ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

As I'm pretty good at cooking and as I like to try new recipes, it would be a pleasure to cook a great vegan recipe!
