ABOUT ME

Hey! I'm a communication manager currently working for a jazz festival. during the last couple of years, I lived in Quimper, at the Réunion island, in Paris for master degree, Plymouth as an au pair, and nearby Marseille for my sudies. I've been studiing various things (english, farsi, anthropology...) but i did my mémoire on relationships between islam and rap music in France, and then on reunionese rap. I'm not sure of what i'm supposed to write in this section, but I guess you'll be able to ask me whatever is missing when we'll meet :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just moved back to Perpignan. At the very moment I stay at my parents, but i am quite eager to visit around!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been once couchsurfing with a friend in Alexandria, it was a wonderful experience, once in Vienna, and one other time for a crazy week end in Cardiff. I spent a while at couchsurfers' when i moved to the réunion island. It has been a wonderful time!
I hope to be able to do it again, and to receive nice people at my place for them to have a great experience too!

Interests

I am really fond of travelling, but I also love reading (my favourite authors are russian ones) and listening to music; Mostly french music but I like different kind as well. Anyway, I fancy a lot going to live music concert or to the pub.
I love hang out in cities, looking at architecture and people in the streets: Actually I am more interested in cities than in nature.
I also like a lot swimming, dancing and biking.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot science fiction movies (mostly at cinema!!)
but I also love watching stupid movies with my friends.
I read a lot, of everything (from the shampoo description when i'm under the shower to Proust, by adds flyers and Asimov). My parents used to laugh at me when I was a kid, as far as was reading the dictionnary when i was bored.
About music, I fancy a lot live music of anykind; mostly when it's outdoor or in akward places. I listen a lot french rock music or rap, but actually, i like anykind; completly commercial or not at all.

I don't really know, well, I'm a kind of miss misfortune so I have a lot of funny stories to tell about my trips

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm mastering the art of ruining cake. That's a great skill when you don't want to cook for a party. If you're interested, i'll be able to show you how easy and surprising a wasted cake can be.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love live music, so I am always up to go to à little concert, whatever kind it is.
I'm not so bad at cooking, so you might not starve during your stay :)
I also have a car, so we definitly explore around on my days off!
