DON'T ASK FOR WEDNESDAY NIGHT, evening is generally an exhausting moment for me due to our family way of life (kids very excited and tired, lot of things to manage together...)

PLEASE LET A REFERENCE, it's the minimum you can do. I'm on CS for almost 10 years and i have only 6 references from guests... THANKS.

When you ask : give some informations, ask me by putting my name at the beginning of your request...i'm not an hotel operator. If i'm here it's to share something not just to give a free bed.

When i post a request : it's important to give an answer, even negative. I take time to write something (often in english, it's not my main language) after reading the entire profile -I do what i should do on CS, i expect to get an answer back .Thank you. :-)

Hi !

I'm Lucie, an art teacher : I teach drawing, painting every stuffs like these and history of art.
I'm curious, that's why i love traveling and host different people that i've never met before, to learn, and share differents things.
I'm smily and very talkative as well :-D

I enjoy staying on my own to by reading a book, watching a film, or to do DIY... and more since i have kids (isn't it strange?)

I'm really passionate by art and music and I love chating about that. Traveling and diving are also things which drive me in life... i'm always on the road or under the sea even if it's only in my mind :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to bring happiness (and food) when i'm traveling. As a host, I want to show to my children how it is necessary and pleasant to be open minded. That's whay we often share our meals and help as we can... and as a family :-)

- Since i have discover ceramic, it becomes the most important thing i'm interested by !

- Every stufs which can increase culture and curiosity like politic and words in "gy" : ecology, sociology, etnhology, ethology, sciences ( botanic, mineralogy, entomology, ornithology, subaquatic biology, blablabla) I'm also interested in alternative teaching skills.

- Sometimes I make my own clothes, jewellries, furnitures clothes and decoration, baby clothes and plushes... everything we need at home especially by upcycling...

I read a lot, history of art, architecture, fashion, contemporary jewellry and design books, paper work technics, birds, sea animals etc... i love learning about everything and then doing lot of things : )
I like Sylvain Tesson's and Ella Maillart books, i'm passionate by Central Asia which i'll visit soon i hope... The last book i read let me in pieces, it's "The Grand Marin" written by Catherine Poulain.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-slept 2 nights in wadi rum with camels
- dived by night in Indonesia
- spent few days in a tiny house made of stone lost in the mountains of Gran Canaria, without electricity, people , cars etc ...but with my friend, a child and a baby ( and chickens, cat and cactus)... pretty awesome !

Teach, Learn, Share

Here in CS i learn to be more patient... If you are interessed in, i can teach you some italian or french and alsacian cuisine, pastry (i cook good cakes obviously)

I'd like to learn arabic, russian and italian languages, increase my english knowledge.
