I'm a psychologist afraid of whales and Valentin is an engineer who has also studied economy about energy and climate and he likes nice trees. We're both 25yo.

I love to laugh, share experiences, talk about feelings and create some funny moments. I'm pretty sensitive to all kind of things and can be amazed by simple things of everyday life.
I'm also found of playing card/board games with my friends during evenings, sharing a conversation about life or dancing until the end of the night instead. I love Brittany and its marvellous landscapes

Valentin is really implicated in fighting against climate change and is sometimes an activist about it. He is also very sensitive but i a different way that i am. He enjoys climbing, hiking and can watch a mountain for a very long time.

We are both trying to reduce our meat consumption and to live according to what makes sense for us. During the summer we like to rock-climb, visit friend all over France to spend some time with them. We also do camps with children, based on the 'liberty pedagogy' and the teaching of Maria Montessori. There the kids can have real holidays, and take the time to do what they want to. They are even allowed to be bored ! We'd love to share these experiences with you !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In 2017 we travelled on interrail with Valentin to countries and cities we wanted to discover. We went to Berlin, Copenhaguen and Goteborg. Discovering new lifestyles and people was extraordinary, even more with persons who live in and know the cities. Goteborg was our first CS experiment and we really enjoyed spending time with our host. The past year in switzerland an host welcomed us and took us to visit her country, it was amazing :)

This fall we are heading to Japan for a month and would be really happy to discover the country thanks to native people !

Music, Movies, and Books

My very favorite film is Mister Nobody, which talks so perfectly about life, choices, love and so on.
I also love the books written by Boris Vian, my favorite one is 'L'herbe rouge', Fred Vargas, Daniel Pennac, and impressed by the pedagogy of A.S. Neill who created the Summerhill school, a place where the children can make choices for themselves.
Concerning the music I can listen to many kind, depending on the day, what i am doing and how i feel.

Valentin likes a lot the band Rammstein, System of a Down, that we've seen in concert (Hellfest). He likes the french authors Gotlib, Reiser and their funny jokes.

We would love to discover new bands or type of music you like to listen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Go to a karaoke in Berlin and meet nice people from Montreal who where in my University while I was there and have an amazing night with the. Another time was when Valentin fell in the water fully dressed in Goteborg Archipelago and he had to take some of my clothes to make his dry !

Teach, Learn, Share

We can teach you french, how to make a delicious vegan recipe tofu general tao. We would like to improve our how we speak in Japanese, discover dances, typical meals. I love to share my vision of love and to talk about it for hours with people i meet.

Valentin knows plenty of things about ecology, he is very precise, would love to talk about it to you if you are interested and he can become passionate of everything.
