I'm a curious person. I like to discover wonders around the world, whether they are found in a single person or a whole landscape. I enjoy deep talks with good beer, or some laughs while having coffee. Music lover, amateur musician and passionate dancer. Books capture me rather easily and I am prone to just let myself fly away through good stories, including those that come up to my mind. Dreamer. In many ways a dreamer. I love to sleep in and wake up at late hours, but I also love to imagine possible futures and worlds that can be better for all of us. Vegetarian, food lover, and training farmer. Embroidery and writing are my hobbies, though I don't like to show off very much. Sensitive. Passionate. Joyful. But above all else, human.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing on 2014, right before I finished my carreer as an anthropologist. One of the plans I had set out for my immediate future was traveling through Latin America looking to learn from all sorts of sustainable communities. Clearly I had no budget to book hostels everytime I visited a town or city nearby the projects I planned to visit, and since I wanted to learn about sustainability and independence I thought the best way was to do it with local people. Plans changed and I moved and got my own place and started working, so I figured before my plan was completed I'd receive people from around the world. This way, I can still get to learn from others and even cruise around our planet's wonders - without even having to move from home! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Get to know Colombia, the deep, hidden, rural, crazy and beautiful parts of Colombia, through the eyes of its inhabitants. Working with indigenous and peasant communities in their territories is, I believe, the most amazing thing I've done.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some basic embroidery tricks. As well as english and/or spanish (believe me, my mom is a language teacher, she taught me well). Maybe some colombian food recipes? Depends on the ingredients available.
I am always willing to learn anything new!
And we can always share a nice evening, great meals, lots of stories or calm silence. Also yummy treats from whatever parts of the world I've been to :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my hands for whatever needs to be done in your place! Just let me know, I am a neat freak and I can help out cleaning, organizing, setting stuff up... While I do this (or just hanging out) I can share stories, music or any interesting fact that I know of that may trigger your curiosity. I can also cook! Specially vegetarian food and some traditional colombian recipes.
Don't know if this is enough to share, but describing it to some abstract host is difficult... I guess you share different things with different people, depending on what they like or need. Y'all just holler and let me know what you are interested in!
