Overview
About Me
Hi ! I'm Lucie, 26, currently PhD student in Biology in Strasbourg.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting people is what can make each journey unique !
And I think it makes much more sense to spend money to discover local food/drinks/monuments/culture .. than to sleep !
Interests
I do a lot of different sports (mainly rowing, trail and road running, swimming, and hiking when I have the opportunity). I also love spending time cooking yummy and healthy stuff. "A healthy spirit in a healthy body" is definitely part of my personal philosophy !
I like traveling to discover beautiful landscapes (far away or not, France is already full of astonishing places). And it is important to me to pay attention to my ecological impact in my day-to-day life, in order to preserve those precious places as much as I can !
Last but not least, I am very enthousiastic about sea stuff !

Music, Movies, and Books
I often deplore my lack of musical and film culture, I'm currently working on that point ;)
Two songs I like in that moment:
- "Jimmy", Moriarty
- "Forever Young", Alphaville
Two movies:
- "The Broken Circle Breakdown" - for the music as much as the scenario
- "Le dîner de cons" - inescapable french comedy
Two books:
- "The Help", Kathryn Stockett
- The Inheritance Cycle, Christopher Paolini
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 18, I was in Togo on a humanitarian project. This trip was full of wonderful personal and cultural discoveries for me.
