About Me

ABOUT ME

Hi!

I am a part-time English teacher for a K-12 school in Paris. I'm also a blogger and a YouTuber in my free time.

I'm very easy-going, love foreign languages and I'm always interested in learning about other cultures. Having lived abroad already, I feel so blessed to have met such wonderful people from all around the globe and I'm excited to meet other couch-surfers :-)

PHILOSOPHY

"No matter where you run, you always end up running into yourself." [Fred in Breakfast at Tiffany's]

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For the moment, I'm unable to host, which is a shame because I love having guests over, but as soon as I get more space, my couch will be available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had such a blast gallivanting around the East Coast, the Midwest and the South in July and August 2012. I have met such interesting and generous people, who ended up becoming my friends. So far, only positive :-)

Interests

I love foreign languages, which has led me to learn English and German, both of which I'm fluent in. I have basic knowledge of Spanish and would love to know so many more!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm very passionate about cinema and I love old movies, so don't get me started on those if you're not ready to have a 2-hour conversation on Hitchcock and Truffaut, haha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen so many great things in my life, which I feel so lucky for. I guess travelling all the way to Australia was a really amazing moment, especially when I got to see such amazing places as the Blue Mountains or the Queensunday Islands. I felt like I was part of the happy few who get to experience such beauty.
Being an ERASMUS student in Berlin was also one of the best things I've ever experience. I spent a year with amazing people who were always up for anything and I learnt so much from them. I wouldn't change it for the world.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom
